How To View Saved Wi-Fi Passwords On Windows 7, 8 & 10

If you want view the Wi-Fi password on your Windows devices, first of all you need to make sure you are connected to the WiFi network. There is a simple way to show a Wi-Fi password in Windows 7, 8, & 10 in Wireless Properties.

There are two ways to get wi-fi password on windows 10.

First using control pannel

 

Step 1 :- Go to Control Panel >Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center

Step 2 :- Click on the connected Wifi connection

Step 3 :- Click on Properties then click Wifi network properties

Step 4 :- Go to Security tab and select Show characters to view the current connected Wifi password

Second using window CMD 

Step 1 :- Open command prompt ( Cmd) 

Step 2 :- Run the bellow command to show all the Wifi profiles saved on your computer 

          netsh wlan show profile name = "wifi connection name" key=clear

Replace "wifi connection name" and write your wifi name

Open "Network and sharing center" and then click on "Manage wireless network".

Now you will get the list of all the Wifi networks that has been connected to. Then double click on the one you want to find the password for.

Then it will open a dialogue box showing you information about that wireless network. Click on the "Security tab", then click on the "Show characters" option, now see your wifi password.

Step 1 :- First Right-click the Wifi symbol in the system and select Open "Network and Sharing Center".

Step 2 :- Then Click "Change adapter settings".

Step 3 :-Right-click on the wifi adpter.

Step 4 :- Click "Wireless Properties".

Step 5 :- Then Click the "Security tab" and then "check Show" characters.

Now you can view saved password windows 7, 8 & 10
